See doctor: It is hard to tell what may be causing it without a direct exam. Nonetheless you may try taking antihistamines to see if they help. A dermatology consult may be required if antihistamine does not help or the problem is getting worse. Dermatitis: Sounds like you have a dermatitis (not otherwise specified) and an exam would define it more specifically. Most dermatitis like, itchy skin eruptions can be treated with a topical steroid and Benadryl (diphenhydramine) as an antihistamine (which can also help with the itch). If severe, then get derm eval.
