Tiny Colorless Bumps On Face
Acne: Tretinoin (retin-a, atralin, renova) is the mainstay of treatment for whiteheads and blackheads. Tretinoin is a derivative of vitamin a and works by increasing cell turnover and reducing the "stickiness" of the sloughed cells. It helps expel the plugged material returning the pore to normal. Tretinoin can be irritating, so specific instructions on how to use it can be found here.
Many possibilities: There are many types and causes of skin rashes. Several types of inflammatory conditions of the skin, allergic reactions, and sometimes bacterial, viral or fungal infections can cause rashes on the skin. Insect bites can also be the cause of a rash on the skin. Have it evaluated by a professional and get the appropriate treatment.
Milia: They may be tiny little cysts which are called milia. They usually do not grow in size and do not become infected. They are very common in people of all ages.
See Your Doctor: You described a few details about the rash however not enough information is given to deduce the cause. "Bumps" can have numerous causes, from insect bites to contact dermatitis, & more. Diagnosis of skin findings is challenging without visual inspection. Additionally, a detailed medical history is needed to assess all possible causes. See your doctor for the correct diagnosis and treatment
?: Impossible to diagnose without seeing the rash. Go get checked by your doctor.

Son had tiny cluster of itchy bumps on face. It's better-ish but now the skin around it is turning white, not scaly/raised. He has 4 white spots.????
See doctor: It is best for the child if you take him to the doctor for evaluation. You do not want the skin to scar especially on the face

Dermatology or pediatrition only please. 5 wk old baby redness and small tiny bumps on face and a little on neck. Acne? What else? Treatment?
Tiny red itchy bumps on face and neck after running, but takes days at least to go away. They look like little pimples, and I take zyrtec (cetirizine) daily too.
Irritation: This irritation of skin and hair follicles is likely due to profuse sweating. The first step is prompt showering after a run. Also, check to see if any new laundry detergents or soaps are being used.
2 yr old developed a few small facial bumps on face 1 wk ago- yesterday bumps spread to hands and legs, can he have chicken pox if he's vaccinated?
Bumps: The chicken pox vaccine isn't 100% effective so it is possible to get chicken pox even if you have been vaccinated. If it is taking a week for the bumps to spread it is unlikely that this is chicken pox. Here's a link to some good information about chicken pox: http://www. Cdc. Gov/chickenpox/about/overview. Html.
Little fine bumps on face. Has happened before but it clears up in few days. What could cause this & what is this?
Comedones: What you are describing sounds a lot like mild acne. Things that come and go on the face which appear as fine bumps are probably the first forms of acne called comedones. These can resolve on their own, but usually come back. There are many treatments for this type of acne and if you want to prevent it from forming it would be a good idea to see a dermatologist.
See below: This problem can only be solved by seeing your doctor and being evaluated face-to-face. After a thorough examination, your doctor should be able to tell you what's wrong and what to do about it.
