I've been having issues withtongue burning and tingling and lump in throat onand off to me tongue looks bigger but no one sees it ridges around tongue?
Winter: Does this only happen in the winter? Do you feel stress in your throat and tongue while you run? I personally have found that drying my mouth tissues out can be quite painful and annoying. But if you haven't experienced this pain before then it would be appropriate to visit an ENT to definitively diagnose. The tongue is the strongest organ in the body(metaphorically). Cold/flu: Sounds like you may be getting a cold or flu. You can try taking some zinc and vit. C to help reduce the severity of a cold. You can also try some otc cold/flu meds for the symptoms for now. You may have to just ride this one out til you feel better. Tongue cramp down the left side of my tongue. Pain spreads into my jaw and throat and makes it hard to swallow. Normally comes on at night.
Tongue cramps: Muscle cramping is often a result of nutritional deficiency of potassium.
