Tingling Toes In Early Pregnancy
My arms are going numb and tingling a lot. I'm 21 weeks and I had this with my first two pregnancies. What causes it?
Arm numbness: Sounds like carpel tunnel syndrome. It is fairly common in pregnancy due to swelling in the hands. It is caused by compression of a nerve as it passes from the wrist into the hand. Often worse in the dominant hand but can be in both hands. Can wake you up at night when the hands feel like they are "asleep". Will likely go away after delivery. Try wearing thumb spica splints at night. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

First try rest and antiinflammatory medication. If tingling gets worse, see a physician. You may have a pinched nerve (morton neuroma) or other nerve related problems. Hope that helped! ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers

Pain on 2nd toe. Pressing toe and area cause no pain. But step on hard floor and pointing toe up causes sharp and tingling? Pain. What is it?
2 likely diagnoses: The pain caused while "pointing the toe up" suggest damage to the capsule or the plantar plate which also will hurt with direct pressure on a Harwood floor. The sharp tingiling pain could be associated with a neuroma. Manual examination by a professional is needed to identify the exact location of the pain.
