By coincidence-maybe: There is nothing specific the symptoms of crawling, tingling, or vibration over the scalp related to any type of cancer that I'm aware. Stop its use if...: The surest way to confirm if finasteride causes your symptoms is stop its use, wait, and see. So, report what you suspected to the prescribing doctor or just stop its us as suggested above since taking finasteride is non-urgent or not essential, esp. its use in females. ...Read more

Finasteride for hair: Finasteride is given in 2 formulations. 1 mg a day is Propecia, the male hair loss medication. 5 mg a day is to shrink the prostate, often called Proscar. So yes I do believe the scalp symptoms could be due to finasteride. ...Read more
