Tingling In Upper Right Arm
Irritated/pinch nerv: Usually pinching of nerves from neck to wrist can occur and symptoms and signs will depend on the location of compression of one or more nerves.
I have a tingling sensation throughout my right arm as if I have bumped my funnybone. In the morning is when it is the worst.
The: The feeling when the "funnybone" is hit comes from the ulnar nerve, one of the three major nerves in the upper limb. Usually this feeling is felt most in the pinkie and ring finger, and on the pinkie side of the forearm. If the whole upper limb is affected by a similar feeling, the problem may involve part of the brain, spinal cord, or an interchange of nerves called the brachial plexus. Often, problems involving the spinal cord and brachial plexus involve not only a feeling, but also some weakness. A visit to a primary care doctor may start to sort things out.See 2 more doctor answers
Many things: The list of things that could cause numbness and tingling in arm is quite long. I suggest you start with a visit to your local primary care physician. If there is not a clear answer there, you might consider seeing a neurologist.
Depends. .: It could be from multiple sources. It could be related to compression of nerves stemming from the neck, armpit (axilla), elbow or (less likely) the wrist area. It could be a toxic/nutritional deficit effect on the sensory nerves, though this tends to affect both sides. It could be from a particular issue within a sensory area of the brain (exceptionally unlikely).
Nerve symptoms: Might be due to carpal tunnel, nerve pinching at elbow (cubital tunnel), but also neck and shoulder may have problems. Sort out and confirm with your doc, and perhaps get confirmatory testing. Occas, bilat symptoms due to some medicines, and rarely an issue with cardiac disease (but over left arm, not the right).See 1 more doctor answer
Tingling and numbnes: This usually has to do with a nerve at some ointment from where the nerve leaves the spinal canal until it inner ares the hand. Depending on what part of the hand is involved depends on which nerve it is. The best thing to do is see you doctor and he can order tests called Nerve Conduction tests that can see where the nerve is pinched and determine treatment from there.See 2 more doctor answers
See your doctor: Pain that severe needs to be worked up by your doctor in person. He/she will listen to you, perform an examination and possibly order some tests to see what's wrong with you.
Couple possibilities: Numbness under the arm could be the result of pressure over a nerve, pinched nerve in the neck or arm, or even muscle overuse/strain due to poor posture. If correcting posture/repositioning does not resolve the concern, that warrants an office visit, particularly if there is an associated lump or mass, or any arm weakness.See 1 more doctor answer
Medical first: Tingling, deep breaths and nervous feelings suggest potential for panic symptoms or a panic attack. However, you should rule out medical or organic causes for the tingling, funny feelings in your arm before assuming psychological causes. Emergency or Urgent care centers are everywhere and can help assess your arm tingling and other symptoms and differentiate physical from mental causes.

I have a very intense tingling sensation in my right arm in the same spot each time. It's very annoying and has a wierd feeling. What is this?
Show your doc: You might want to show your doctor where exactly on your arm. Your doctor will review your health history and your symptoms and may able to answer better on your symptoms. It can be nerve pinching to very serious problems.
Had a numbing & tingling sensation in all of right arm for 5 weeks. Gets unbearable if leave in certain positions and throbs deeply afterwards.?
Be seen: The most likely cause is a cervical Radiculopathy, which is basically a pinched nerve in the neck. But because of the association of cardiac disease and left shoulder and arm complaints, you would be well served to be seen. Peripheral nerve entrapment syndromes such as carpal tunnel syndrome are also a possible cause.See 1 more doctor answer
39 year old male - right arm - started as pain, then changing to tingling and is now going numb any time he bends his arm.
Feeling numbness/tingling right side of face& body for almost a day. What can be causing this? I felt a pinch on right arm when it started.
Need to see Dr.: You are young, so this is reassuring. However, when your face is involved, it suggests that you are having something happening in your brain, not in your neck as could cause just arm tingling. Ever had migraines? Sometimes you can have other migraine symptoms without pain. The worrisome concern would be a stroke or other spot in the brain. You need to have an exam and maybe a brain scan.
