Tingling in neck, face and hands. Headaches off and on. Is it possible I have a blood clot?

Tingling in neck, face and hands. Headaches off and on. Is it possible I have a blood clot?

Probably not: Of course, all things are possible, but your description does not sound like a blood clot. Frankly, it sounds much more like an anxiety reaction. I would tell your doctor about it and let him or her do any appropriate testing, after they examine you, to make sure. Then, they can begin appropriate treatment if it is really needed. ...Read more

I have a drinking problem I used to do meth I have red on the inside of my right eye and I have tingling In my face neck and arm numbness to ?

Appreciate open &...: directness of the question. Happy to provide an answer, that may not be as concrete. For one it depends on how bad are the drinking and past drug problems. These symptoms could certainly be a non serious nerve irritation but also may be cardiomyopathy from alcohol or serious heart attack warning signs from meth. So without a complete evaluation, this could be a serious condition. ...Read more

Can a pinched nerve in neck cause tingling in face and head?

Yes: A pinched nerve certainly can, most notably in a distribution starting at the base of your skull in the back and wrapping up around your scalp and onto your forehead on one side. Irritation to some nerves in your neck can also lead to lower face and head tingling as well. Can muscle tension in the neck cause tingling in the face?

It is possible: Muscle tension can certainly cause tingling in the face by causing referred symptoms and affecting the superficial nerves. A physiatrist can help develop a treatment plan for this and can help look for other causes. ...Read more

Both cheeks on face still tingling on and off since 12/24. I don't have visual probs, no stiff neck, no headache. Does this sound serious? I'm 18.

Might be ok: It does not sound worrisome. Tingling is not always a sign of an illness, and since the symptoms come and go, there may not be much of an explanation in the end. A total loss of sensation or weakness, especially on one side, is more concerning. There's nothing wrong with checking with your doctor, but a week of symptoms like this is not an emergency. ...Read more

Got new mattress, 2 months hurts, wake up daily pain. Now back/neck pain, tingling in face. Did sleeping on too hard surface cause damage? What to do

Back & neck pain: A hard mattress is supposed to be good for your back, if you can't return it give a little it a little longer time to get used to it, you can also use a soft foam mattress padding to give you some comfort. Tingling of the face most likey has nothing to do with the mattress, you need to see your doctor for that to rule out facial palsy & also to check you for your neck & back pain. Feel better. ...Read more
