Neuropathy: Crawling and warm feelings are not always from a pinched nerve. Pinched nerves are more commonly associated with pain. Neuropathy, which can be injury to a nerve down to the cellular level can be associated with burning and crawling as well as numbness. Burning pain in right groin when sitting or lying down. Rest of hip and leg aches some when sitting.Less pain when standing walking. Pregnant. Causes?
Unlikely Hip: Typical hip pain that stems from arthritis is usually not described as "burning". However, nerve pain, (called neuropathy) is commonly described by patients as burning, tingling, electrical. The location of your pain in the groin is similar to where hip joint pain would be felt, but your description of the pain gives me the sense that this is a nerve. Arthritis also has stiffness involved. ...Read more

Cold burning sensation in lower left calf. Sensation is sporadic, but happens several times an hour. Occurred after prolonged sitting. Sciatica?
Cold burning: I think most of us can agree your calf sensation is related to nerve irritation. In this case, it was probably not severe. Since it occurred after sitting, it may be from the sciatic nerve, the popliteal nerve, or a lumbar nerve root. It is hard to know. Regardless, it should not last long, and may recover. Many people get this after sitting on something with an edge, like stadium seats. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers

Leg neuralgia: Not all pins and neesles in the legs are due to pinched nerves in the back, especially when symmetrical (both legs).
