Tingling Face Symptoms
I have this weird tingling sensation going on in my face. It's been happening about 2 hrs. No other symptoms. What could be causing it?
Nerves: For your age, a stroke is unlikely, but if you have any weakness or clumsiness or slurred speech, call 911 and get to a hospital. More likely causes are anxiety, a nerve irritation like Bell's Palsy or if a rash shingles is possible or the start of a cold sore. See your doctor for an exam. ...Read more
Tingling in face when chewing?? Can this this be a symptom of my already existing TMJ disorder? Or is it not possible to TMJ to cause tingling?
While nothing is: While nothing is impossible, tingling in face would not be a likely result of TMD\TMJ Dysfunction. I would first consult with a dentist experienced treating TMJoint Dysfunction. You might be referred to your PCP or Neurologist if the dentist concurs with my suspicion and there are no other apparent dental causes such as an infection. ...Read moreSee 3 more doctor answers

Many symptoms lately. One is tingling. Starts on left side of face & moves down to my hand. Like chills but not creepy. Dr says not neuro. Any thought?
Doubtful: It's never impossible but could also be something simple like muscle spasms in the neck. While there are many possibilities, the best solution if it recurs is to go to your family md for an eval. Many factors like age, medical history and others will give him more info. ...Read more

Past 2 months pain in left side of head base neck. Now I have random pain and numbness/tingling in arms and legs. What's wrong? Symptoms mimic MS
Explanation: Although MS can be a tough diagnosis due to vague symptoms, I would doubt your problems are caused by MS. Suggest you have an MRI of your neck, as that is most likely the anatomic location for your issues. See your neurologist.: These symptoms are not psychiatric. They are neurologic in nature and likely coming from your seizure disorder. It's also possible that it could be a side effect of your medications either directly or indirectly through a vitamin deficiency. Do not change any of your medications obviously without discussing things with your neurologist and your psychiatrist. You should always alert both of your physicians when new symptoms emerge.
