Cerv radiculopathy: Neck pain and/or pain around the shoulder blades with associated weakness and/or numbness into the shoulder, arm or hand implies a pinched nerve from either arthritis or a ruptured (herniated) disc. If pain tolerable and symptoms better, ok to watch and wait. Nonsurgical treatment includes pt (i prefer mckenzie exercises), arthritis meds, and nerve blocks. Get an EMG/NCT: Paresthesia ; numbness in the hand and arm indicates nerve impingement. See a neurologist for an emg/nct. If proven to have nerve impingement in the neck then you will be referred to a neurosurgeon. If you have impingement of nerves at the elbow or hand , then you will be referred to a hand surgeon for surgical decompression. ...Read more

My drs won't take me seriously. I have tight jaw/neck muscles pulling at my bones, but i don't have tmj. Now i get some tingling down my left arm

Need evaluation: Jaw pain and left arm numbness can be a signal of cardiac insufficiency. Need to be cleared byphysician now. If medically sound, need to then see dentist to evaluate occlusion and muscle function. May need orthodontist if malocclusion contributory to facial pain. ...Read more

Goose bumps: Probably nothing major but if the tingling gets worse or more common, please see your doctor. Nothing to do with tingling but go easy on the licorice or you will gain a lot of weight. ...Read more
