Hard to say: It's difficult to draw conclusions from the symptoms you describe. This sort of problem usually requires a more detailed history and exam to determine what is going on. If the symptoms are worse on standing up, it could be low blood pressure (orthostatic hypotension) hyperventilation can cause light headedness and tingling in arms and legs. Tricky: Ok, there's two main distributions of nerve problems: outward along an (injured) nerve or inward from the tips of (sick) nerves. If arm and leg symptoms are pretty equal, the problem could be either coming from brainstem or upper spinal cord problems. Hyperventilation, repeated deep breaths, can occur in some people who just sigh a lot.
