Sometimes I wake up to a painful lower ribcage. It feels like there is a tight band around it or like someone squeezing me I can't breathe Female 18?

Worse sitting?: The only clue in your description is the observation that it's worse sitting. That suggests a muscular cause or possibly a compression neuropathy.
