Possibly swelling : You should bring your symptoms up with all doctors that are giving you medication. The finding could be a warning that your migraine is about to start, it could be medication-related, and with the description of the strea it could be that you have intermittent swelling of that area with numbness when swollen and the stria when not. Can be painful!: Not sure what trigeminal "tightness" is. Trigeminal neuralgia is pain associated with the trigeminal nerve & is usually experienced as burning, sharp pain in the cheek, forehead, temples & jaw, pain around eyes, aching teeth, ear aches & feeling of fullness in sinuses.Puffiness is not usually described. Anti-inflammatories are not particularly helpful. Neurontin, Lyrica, (pregabalin) Cymbalta have been used. ...Read more
