Tightness In Pelvic
Feeling of tightness in pelvic area during period, on and off kind of thing but when it strike it feel like suffocating. normal?
PP 4 months from c-sec and I feel tightness on my pelvic area stiffness as well also get little stings what is it & will it go away?
Not normal: This symptom is a little confusing, it doesn't immediately suggest a cause. It could be pain from a hernia, or possibly fibroids (large ones) on the uterus can cause pain that could radiate to the vagina as well as lower abdomen. Endometriosis would be a possibility - but that wouldn't show up as a new type of pain in someone who is 48 years old. Imaging and exam would be helpful. ...Read more
What behavioral or anatomic factors contribute to varicoceles? I'm particularly curious about tight pelvic muscles and breathing difficulties.
Here are some...: Varicocele is specifically designated to denote the presence of venous dilation resulting from inborn defect of spermatic venous valves , which occurs in some 15% of adult men with 90% in left side and some 10% involving both sides. So its occurrence would not be associated with physical activities, but which may increase its related symptoms just like that commonly occurring in lower legs. ...Read more

36 male Weak stream. Flow test @10, but DO empty bladder. Told Tight Bladder Neck - RX = Flomax. Could this be tight Pelvic Muscles? How to correct?
Urethral strictures,: non relaxation (functional) or actual obstruction of bladder neck as well as posterior urethral valves can all cause weak urinary stream. Poor relaxation of external urethral sphincter/tight pelvic floor muscles can be cause. Can respond to biofeedback or medication to relax voluntary (striated) muscle. Flummox certainly can help to relieve a tight bladder neck. ...Read more
Can tight pelvic, back and leg muscles (tension/cramping) cause poor blood flow/restrict blood flow?
Not significantly: Blood vessel blood flow is not significantly affected by muscle tension unless something artificial is constricting the area as the blood vessels are not compressed by muscles unless they are structurally distorted. However tension of the muscles within blood vessel walls can affect blood flow. ...Read more
