Tightness In Left Lower Abdomen
Last 3 months I have been having a strange tight heavy feeling in left lower abdomen sometimes sharp I do a lot of lifting, my urine/stools are fine.
Lap appendectomy 3days ago. Now, when urinating, feels like tightness/squeezing in lower left abdomen. No burning in urethra. 25 yr old female.
Maybe muscle trauma: One of the ports during appendectomy is usually placed in the left lower quadrant. During urination the abdominal muscles are tightening and the injured muscle may cause painful sensation. The other 2 ports are placed in the midline where there is no muscle.See 1 more doctor answer
It's not necessarily pain I'm feeling, but more so discomfort or tightness in my lower left abdomen while coughing or sneezing. Bladder infection?
Anything: Discomfort with coughing and sneezing indicate more of a hernia or similar abdominal wall weaknesses than a bladder problem unless you are already havind problem with bladder emtying and the coughing and the sneezing could be a factor in the discomfort so my advice see a doctor and get examined so you can get assured or treated

My wife is diagnosed with distended gallbladder and having inflated, tight lower abdomen and sometimes having pain also especially in the evening.?
Several reasons: Distension of gall bladder usually diagnosed by ultrasound. Distended gall bladder may mean abnormality, but often is related to how long patient fasted before the study. The longer the fast the more distended the gall bladder. Food ingestion causes gb to contract. If symptomatic hida study would determine gall bladder function. Physician has to correlate blood tests and imaging for proper diagnosis.See 1 more doctor answer
Probably not: A tumor would not be the first thing I would think of. Best to see your pcp to have physical and find the cause.See 1 more doctor answer
Weightlifters who lift very heavy weights in internatnal event put very tight leather belt on lower abdomen bfore lifting. This protects from hernia?
I believe: That the belt is for back support. It would not prevent hernias from forming.
Have dull pain in right testicle & dull pain or tightness in area from testicle to lower abdomen area. Have had this for roughly 2 wks and never had?
Is R testicle harder: If right testicle feels rock hard relative to left one or is tender when you pal pâté it, you need to see a doctor. Could be anything from infection, inflammation, cancer, or just a cyst or muscle ache after working out (the latter wouldn't last 2 weeks, however). As this is persistent, you need to get a physical exam. If it already got better on its own and you are back to normal, you are okSee 1 more doctor answer

Is it possible to tighten ones inguinal ligament, to overcome the "old man basketball" shape of the lower abdomen?
Not Avise do exercis: That type of surgery will not accomplish your problem. Exercise with muscle toning could help. This will strengthen the abdominal muscles and give you a better appearance.
Go to your PCP.: There are a lot of possibilities such as constipation, gas distention, pms, bladder infection. There should be other symptoms that can give you a clue as the when the pain is worse, does it get worse after walking, eating etc. If the pain is bothering you, I suggest that you visit your pcp and have it checked.

I am 14 wks 3 days, my lower belly feels funny, sort of tight, is this cause for concern, should I call my ob? I feel a little gasy but no pain
Sounds normal: Your uterus is up out of your pelvis and should be palpable in your lower abdomen so if you aren't having pain or bleeding this is probably normal. You might ask your OB to show you the top of your uterus at your next exam so you know what you are feeling and can keep up with the growth. It really is exciting to know that that is your baby growing. Best wishes.
