What could be causing a tendons in my neck to protrude causing pain and tightness in my face? My neck and face are sensitive to touch too
Irritated Nerve: Some nerves in the face and neck can become irritated or pinched as the come out of the brain. These nerves include the trigeminal and facial nerve. Can be painful!: Not sure what trigeminal "tightness" is. Trigeminal neuralgia is pain associated with the trigeminal nerve & is usually experienced as burning, sharp pain in the cheek, forehead, temples & jaw, pain around eyes, aching teeth, ear aches & feeling of fullness in sinuses.Puffiness is not usually described.
