Tightness In Clavicle
I have a tingling/tight/popping? sensation in my left clavicle, often when singing but lately movement. It doesn't last long and there's no pain. Help
Broke clavicle 6 yrs ago & i'm starting to have pain associated with it. Numbness, shlder tightness/cramping & pain during exercise. What can be done?
Unracked a barbell, stood in the squat position-it felt like a giant nerve around clavicle moved. Now have collar bone pain and muscle tightness..

Plat yams muscle pul: You probably pulled your platysma muscle. There is normal clicking of the larynx over the spine when you swallow. You can try some Motrin 600 mg three times a day for any inflammation in this area. I have not really seen clicking so bad in my practice that I had to treat it. The Motrin will help the muscle strain. If it is not better in a few weeks, see an ENT doctor and they will check it. ...Read more

Stretch?: With the information given, the first suggestion is stretching. You can use a broom handle and your good arm to push the stiff shoulder to a comfortable limit and hold it. You can also use the hand on the bad side to crawl up a nearby wall to that same comfortable limit. If you are really stiff, a physical therapist may help. Tendonitis: It sounds very much as though you have an early shoulder tendonitis, possibly of the biceps tendon, maybe of the rotator cuff. Have you been doing biceps curls in the gym? If so you may have injured the biceps tendon. When irritated the tendon can come out of its track and feel tight, and it certainly hurts when you try to stretch it. When I have my neck in upright position and move the neck back slightly i get pain between my neck and shoulder (upper trap), have tight right shoulde?
Possibly: Analyze your activities, exercises, and sleep positions to figure what is setting this off. Also figure out what helps the most (stretches, message, ice etc). this will give you insight into what causes it and how to manage it.
