Something else: Sounds like u have edema in u'r feet. Not uncommon at all, especially if u are on u'r feet a lot. The main reason is gravity pulls things down, and as we get older out veins and Lymph vessels transmit the fluid/blood slower. Normal: Its normal to feel that tightness. After all that's why you had the procedure done in the first place, to tighten up or repair the lateral ankle ligaments.
