What causes burning eyes!? Been tested for all eye disorders an was normal, muscles in scalp also sore and tight?

What causes burning eyes!? Been tested for all eye disorders an was normal, muscles in scalp also sore and tight?

A few possibilities: This could be due to allergies, dry eyes, or eye infections. All can start or affect 1 eye first. The treatments are very different. For allergies, zaditor (ketotifen) is a good otc eye medicine. For dry eyes, lubricating tears are necessary. For infection, usually of the eyelids, start with eyelid warm compress and diluted baby shampoo scrubs. You should have a baseline exam with your eye doctor.

I have a few scalp sores due to tight braids. What should I do to make them heal?

I have a few scalp sores due to tight braids. What should I do to make them heal?

Undo braids: You must undo your braids for the present time and allow the skin tissues to heal. The tight braids decrease your skin circulation and often allow skin infections to develop. Please undo your braids and massage your scalp with a mild shampoo. If you see any infections, you need to see a physician to treat them. Good luck.

Chronic headache, scalp tightness and vision problems like prisms. How can I prevent all this?

Migraine?: Sounds like migraine. Go to an internist or neurologist for a check up. If you are over 70, a dangerous disease called temporal arteritis needs to be ruled out.

Dogmatil: Is an antipsychotic used in europe & japan. Having been on it for that long, it is possible that symptoms are related to withdrawal. Advise talking to the prescribing physician.

Pressure/tightness inside nose. It gets worse when I pronounce consonants, therefore it hinders my speech. Tight scalp and face, itchiness all over.

Pressure/tightness inside nose. It gets worse when I pronounce consonants, therefore it hinders my speech. Tight scalp and face, itchiness all over.

Sinusitis?: Try nasal steroids like Flonase [Walmart is cheapest, fluticasone] 1 small spray to each nostril twice a day, take showers for steam affect to loosen mucus, mini showers with nasal saline anytime but 15 minutes after steroid to allow steroid to absorb. Itchiness? Try antihistamine like Zyrtec, benadryl but generics ok, did you eat anything you are allergic to or get allergy tested if persist

My seborrheic dermatitis is flared up on my scalp and it feels tight. And burning. Does that mean I will lose more hair? I did use the. Clobe.

My seborrheic dermatitis is flared up on my scalp and it feels tight. And burning. Does that mean I will lose more hair? I did use the. Clobe.

Maybe, maybe not: Mild seborrheic scalp dermatitis may not cause any hair loss at all, just a bit itchy, flaky scalp etc...Severe case may cause some hair loss, but prompt and adequate treatment likely will allow the hair to grow back in a months. Just make sure it is not scalp fungus/ringworm as clobetasol can make it feel better initially, but actually will make the lesion bigger/worse over time. Consult doc.

I have Cervical Dystonia. Its been 5 yrs. My scalp was always tight. My mouth muscles aren't tight. Why my scalp is so tight compared to other regions?

See below: Cervical dystonia doesn't necessarily affect the same muscle in everyone. In fact, it most commonly affects the muscles of the cervical spine. See a physiatrist or neurologist to discuss treatment options.

Stretching: Stretching the neck muscle is also important and sometimes lengthens the effect of botox. A physical therapist can design a stretching program for your neck. Depending on what mouth muscles are tight a speech language pathology us could be helpful.

I've been taking singulair (montelukast) for two months now. M I recall I noticing hair loss within 2 wks. Scalp felt like tight ponytail. Will my hair grow back?

I've been taking singulair (montelukast) for two months now. M I recall I noticing hair loss within 2 wks. Scalp felt like tight ponytail. Will my hair grow back?

It should..: Use of singulair (montelukast) is not known to cause hair loss, but significant illnes can. Other meds can cause hair loss as well. Generally, the hair will grow back. Just make sure you have your scalp checked out because ring-worm on scalp can cause hair loss which will not grow back untill it is treated. Cnsult doc. Good luck.

Tightness in neck shoulders tingly scalp, pressure in head and ears. Lightheaded dizzy sensation. Very random. ENT doesn't know. MRA and eyes normal?

Tightness in neck shoulders tingly scalp, pressure in head and ears. Lightheaded dizzy sensation. Very random. ENT doesn't know. MRA and eyes normal?

MRA of what?: Eyes normal? Light headed sensation? What does the primary care doctor think? Tension headache, Chiari malformation are in the differential diagnosis. Add pseudotumor cerebri if the head pressure is worse with reclining. MRI might be indicated if you have evidence of raised intracranial pressure (papilledema on eye exam) or a focal neuro exam. Might want to see a neurologist.
