Might be the BP med: Lisinopril sometimes causes a persistent non productive dough. Ask your doctor to look into this.
Throat cancer at 22?Light smoker for about 5 yrs, recently a heavy one.Odd sensation of slight pain or tickling in throat,no other noticebale sympthom
Unusual: But possible . If worried please get it checked out.
Consider Papaya: Mild tickle in throat is often related to mild irritation from environmental allergens/irritants. When pain is not severe, consider trying papaya enzyme tablets. They are safe, natural and many of my patients relate symptomatic improvement in throat symptoms. If pain is progressive, persistent or associated with systemic symptoms such as fever, consider seeing your health care provider.
It's possible: Food allergies can lead to throat itching and swelling that may feel like a lump within minutes to hours after ingesting a food a person is allergic to. Other possibilities are post nasal drip from environmental allergies or possibly from sinus infection drainage. If symptoms improve with antihistamine that is suggestive of allergy. If persists or worsens, a doctor can help sort it out.See 1 more doctor answer

How to know if bronchitis or chest cold or acid reflux is what I have burning in chest throat cough n raw feeling tickle in throat to ?
Bronchitis vs reflux: You have asked a somewhat challenging question, to which the answer would be greatly aided by a detailed history and physical exam. However, I would say duration would add a helpful clue, since there is considerable overlap in the symptoms. Speaking in generalities, bronchitis would tend to be more acute and severe, while reflux would tend to be more chronic and less severe, but exceptions abound.
Possible causes: Depends on your previous diabetes control, you can have gastroparesis (inability for food to move through the stomach at a normal pace) causing fullness and vomiting. Other causes include reflux disease. Post nasal drips can also cause "tickle" at back of throat but typically will not cause you to vomit. If this has been happening daily, please see your doctor for an evaluation.
Really raging tickle in throat on/off 4 15yr this makes me feel sick and retch sometimes accompanied by strange smell in nose. Nose continually blockd?
Could be seallergies: Your symptoms seems to be very much as " seasonal allergic rhinitis" or inflammation of sinus due to exposure to spring pollen ! depends on your local area - pollen saturation in the air is high between february to july! you may try otc antihistamine as Allegra , nasal saline rinses to " flush nasal passages "! if more symptoms persists you may see your doc to prescribe more effective medication.
I can't stop coughing have also runny nose and I'm stopped up of morning now have tickle in throat won't stop dry cough?
Antihistamine : Try OTC Antihistamine like Loratadine etc and keep an eye on the color of secretions if these turn to dark yellow or green you will need Antibiotics. Also try Mucinex (guaifenesin) DM for further symptomatic relief especially if difficulty with bringing up the sputum or significant cough.
I get post nasal drip maybe once a year. Why does a tickle in throat make me want to cough to relieve tickle? I also feel tickle in ear before cough.
Hello, pain/pressure behind right ear, tickle right throat, no fever, no lumps on neck. Feeling pain down right Neckar shoulder. Going on 5 days?
Ear pain : Sounds like a middle ear blockage, which can be due to a wide variety of causes. Please consult an ENT specialist.
I had 2 chest x-ray days apart and blood test x-rays are clear they listen sound clear they found nothing I have tickle in throat with little cough?
Question?: I presume you are asking for a diagnosis of the cause of tickle and cough. The chest X-rays & exam of the lungs are normal, as expected, since the problem is likely in your throat. Did anyone check a throat swab? Have you tried warm salt/sugar water gargles? If symptoms persist, see an ENT, but most of the time, it's viral or allergic causes that lead to these symptoms & it goes away on its own.
Diagnosed with pharyngitis 11 days ago. Fever is gone. Still have heavy cough with colored mucus, tickle in throat, shortness of breath and wheezing?
I dusted, vaccumed, used vapor rub, cleaned nose took bath still smell dust, tickle in throat, eyes itch, chest hurts , face itches, inner ears itch. ?
Allergies: This sounds like you have some allergies. Dust in homes can be tainted with lead dust, cockroach dander, pet dander, cigarrette smoke, among other toxins and allergic offenders. You need a whopping dose of antihistamine now, say 10 mg cetirizine by mouth. I am worried a little about your chest pain, especially if you have asthma. Do you have an albuterol inhaler at home with spacer?
If ear infection: Ees (erythromycin ethyl succinate) is a type of erythromycin, which is an antibiotic pill. It is good for 'atypical' bacteria of the ear and respiratory system. It is sometimes appropriate in persons who have failed prior treatment or who are at risk for atypicals. You should only take this on a physician's advice.
Symptoms : Tickle in throat cough, excessive phlegm. Excessive eye mucus & very red eyes. Lethargic & some headache. No fever. Nasal passages clear.
Allergies: seem the most likely cause . Most common are cat or dog hair, dust mites, mold, seasonal plants ,weeds or trees. Please check with an allergist near you since there are different allergies geographically. Get well.
