1. What sort of tick was it? You need to be concerned about deer tick bites and these are very small. Easy to miss.
2. Do you live in Lyme territory? If so and your are bitten by a deer tick you can take 200mgs of doxycycline and wait. So long as you are healthy you are fine. If you get fever go see a doctor.

Good question.: No risk for tick borne illness here. Is there any type of rash at the wound site? An embedded part of the tick would fester a little under the skin and may become a little red and painful until the skin pushes it out or it's broken down. Likely: It all depends on how long the Tick was attached and if the rash was typical for erythema marginatum.
