My 7 year old son recently began blinking constantly. His pediatric ian said it was most likely allergies and not to worry about tourettes.
Blinking: Blinking may be secondary to allergies, it could also be part of an innocent tic. Many children develop tics without it being tourettes. He might even switch his tick (shoulder shrug, cough, etc). He he starts having motor (blinking) and vocal tics (making noises) then you would be more concerned about tourettes.
