Yes: Thyroid hormone has a very long "half-life". It will make no difference taking 75 mcg very other day vs 1/2 pill every day. However, a dose of 37.5 mcg daily is a very small dose for someone in your age group. If 75 mcg was too high a dose, you could be on 50 mcg as the next step down. ...Read more

Partial thyroidectomy in 2006 for nodule, result was benign. Been on 100mcg Synthroid but a new small nodule has appeared. Had ultrasound and told to not worry and come back in 1 yr. Do you agree?
