Hypopituitarism: I did see that you are on Hydrocortisone or Prednisone which would be used if you are cortisol deficient from your pituitary condition. Even if you were cortisol deficient i don't think the stress of getting a tatoo would case adrenal crisis in someone withno history of cortisol deficiency. Just to be safe i would recommend that you ask your md when you adrenal function was last tested. ...Read more

Could be either: Most likely, in the absence of other symptoms, isolated hair loss after having a baby is probably from just that! if you have other symptoms of thyroid disease such as cold/ heat intolerance/ palpitations, extreme fatigue/ fluctuations in weight/ constipation, then see your dr for a complete evaluation! ...Read more

Not likely: ANA is a marker for autoimmune disease, but by itself is not diagnostic of a disease. Do you have any symptoms? Probably not: The vast majority of people with thyroid disease do not also parathyroid disease. Treatment with l-thyroxine should not affect parathyroid function. It is ok to take both l-thyroxine and vitamin d. ...Read more

Not related: There is no bone in front of your thyroid, but your larynx is located just above your thyroid. If you try to move it from side to side it normally has a cracking or grating feeling. I don't know why it should bother you. You should see an ENT if it persists. ...Read more
