I have a thyroid nodule that has increased in size from mm's to 1.6cm and hypoechoic associated with calcification. Increased blood flow also?

Needle Biopsy: It is likely that there will be a recommendation for a needle biopsy of the nodule. This is done usually under ultrasound guidance and local anesthesia as an out-patient procedure.
