No: you have venous stasis. Any other swelling can be like abscess formation, muscle herniation. Fracture, and if you have the above trust me you will know it right away. My advice if you have good arterial flow get 30-40mmHg compression sock and use them. Cut salt from diet and elevate feet when at rest ...Read more

Not typical sx: Typically with DVT you get swelling, warmth, discoloration and tenderness in the leg. Sounds more like a nerve problem. I'd discuss it with your physician. ...Read more

See a specialist: You don't mention having it properly examined. In addition to a full examination, proper diagnostic testing including X-rays and perhaps an MRI will be useful.
