Nose bleeds : Simple solution: add a humidifier to his room, use AYR nasal gel on a Q tip in his nose every night, give him allergy meds such as Zyrtec. Complex solution: get a blood test to check for anemia, infection or bleeding abnormalities. See a pediatrician and explain the symptoms and get a good exam. Maybe an X-ray too. Not normal!: Your symptoms are certainly not normal. You do not give your age and/or your other medical problems or meds, so it is tough to say what is going on. Should not be meds: If you do not take anything but the Insulin you list. It is probably from dryness. Try putting a cool mist humidifier in your room and coat your nose with ayr nasal gel with vaseline over it at night when you sleep. It should help. To stop a nose bleed hold your nose at the end of the cartiledge as hard as you can for 1-0 minutes by the clock.Good work taking care of yourself ! ...Read more
