Lymph nodes, lipomas: A lipoma is in the skin, and looks like a bulge in the skin itself. An enlarged lymph node is usually under the skin and its possible to move the surface of the skin separate from the underlying lymph node. Benign lymph nodes can be either softer or a bit more firm than a lipoma, If a lymph node is very hard or unyielding, or tethered under the skin, be sure to get it checked out. ...Read more

Yes: Moist likely a lipoma. Or maybe mini tears in your muscle that may be inflamed. Try resting the muscle and anti inflammatories like Advil (ibuprofen) four times daily for two weeks. Usually lipomas are not painful. If no improvement see your doctor. ...Read more

Not likely: Treatment would be a laparoscopic cholecystectomy. The gallbladder stores bile and pushes it into the intestines in response to eating fat in a meal. Bile is a salt in solution. In gallbladder disease, the gallbladder is not exchanging the bile properly causing the bile to sit there. Like sugar in a jar of water, if it sits there, eventually it comes out of solution forming sludge. ...Read more

Yes: Anybody can have nodes. Your physician wants to biopsy them because hashimoto's puts you at extra risk for malignant lymphoma, and even if the nodes aren't that worrisome, he wants to cover himself and you. ...Read more

Could be done: Removal of gall bladder still possible even with abdominal scars , some times severe abdominal adhesions may prevent , but you have lower abdominal surgery , where upper abdominal adhesions will be minimal, and good luck. ...Read more
