Thyroid Disease And Bloody Stool
Im out of my thyroid medication cause i can't get health insurance what can I do, can't afford med bloody stool no appetite im a man and mood swings?
Walmart/Target: Walmart and target sell thyroid medication for $4 a month. Even if it is a low dose, some thyroid replacement is better than none. If you can find a free clinic, you should also ask if the doctor can help you obtain the medicine at a reduced or no cost through a drug company. Many drug companies provide patient assistance. If you have internet access, look up www.Needymeds.Org for a list of meds. ...Read more

I am 57 yrs m, diabetic for 20yrs, suffering wt.Loss, thyroid ths up, occult blood in stool let me know the cause of wt.Loss/occult blood.
It's my job to worry: Because I have to think, "what's the worst thing this could be?" i feel it's important to encourage you to see a gastroenterologist to find out where the blood in the stool is coming from. Bleeding from the bowel and weight loss can go along with cancer, so don't put this off. It sounds like your thyroid needs attention. If your TSH is high, your thyroid isn't putting out enough thyroid hormone. ...Read more

Oh my gosh this is embarrassing... I have a bloody stool? My dr. Thinks i might have kidney disease or stones not sure if linked. Why am i bleeding?
Gi workup=no ibd/celiac. Pain, bloody stool, fevers persist. Fingers clubbing. Bipolar ii; 2 yr sober; mentally doing great, but could physical problems be somatiform disorder? Sick of feeling sick.
Unlikely but...: Possibly, but just because your docs haven't found the cause does not mean it's all in your head. It's not unusual for docs to have difficulty finding the cause of GI problems. You may well have food sensitivities (most with gluten sensitivity don't have celiac) ;/or parasites- common ; not easy to diagnose. You might have overgrowth of unfriendly flora- again hard to diagnose. See my comment:. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Does anal fissure or what disease cause headaches / Stress / loss appetite / itchy after stool / sometimes blood in stool / stressing out about it?
Different conditions: An anal fissure or hemorrhoids can cause blood in stool and anal pruritus or itchiness. The headaches and stress may be due to a different condition. A possible link would be through a degree of anemia if the rectal bleed has been going on for a while. Stress is the disease of the century and lifestyle changes are usually necessary. Talk to your doc about your symptoms at next visit. ...Read more
Had a total thyroidectomy due to cancer. Now have pain on right side above chest with bloody stool and throwing up blood. Is the cancer causing it?
Seems unlikely: Hi. Was your thyroid cancer treated (surgery, radioactive iodine, TSH suppression)? What is your thyroglobulin (stimulated, and with TSH suppressed)? Not clear where your pain is; is it in the neck? Can you feel a mass? I think I can pretty well guarantee you that vomiting blood and having bloody stool have nothing to do with thyroid cancer. See your doc about the bloody vomit & stool & neck pain. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers
