Hi I have a 6th month old and she have been diagnosed with thrush or yeast infection and it's also around her eyes!! so my question is how did it get?
In the air: The organism causing thrush is present in the environment. The child is going through a phase in her immune system, where she is less able to handle the organism. Almost all kids outgrow this phase.

Here are some ...: For average healthy men, the steps of skin care are: first, keep the skin clean and dry with good ventilation, especially in the sites with deep skin folds such as armpits, external genital regions; second, judiciously apply anti-fungal-steroid cream lightly 1-2 times daily for 1-2 weeks; third, always practice healthy lifestyle without overindulgence / obsession. I have oral thrush and yeast infection. On nystatin for oral and 1 pill dose of fluconazole for other. Can I also get yeast in nose...it itches?
Diflcan: Will treat oral thrush as well. Intranasal thrush is not common and likely would only be present is someone with a poor immune system. All the best.
Depends on variables: Many infants with a thin skim milk layer of thrush would do fine without treatment and remain asymptomatic. Some will develop enough irritation to the same mucous membranes inside the cheeks and lips that it will bleed occasionally and the kids will fuss during feedings.I routinely treat them all but realize that for many it is transient and may clear on its own.See 1 more doctor answer
Indefinite: These are infections which can be recurrent.See 1 more doctor answer
Is there anything that could cause me to have multiple infections at the same time such as oral thrush, yeast infection and bladder?
Nystatin: We usually use the same Nyststatin 1% suspension topically on nipples as we do on babies tongue. This is easily prescribed in a prime visit. Best of luck!
I might have thrush or a yeast infection but i bought a yeast infection kit. Will it work on either?
See below: I don't know which kit you have. However, if you have thrush it will require prescription antifungal medications.
I think i'm having thrush and a yeast infection at the same time, what could be the cause? I've made no changes to diet and not on any antibiotics.
Same thing: Thrush is a yeast infection - just of your mouth/mucous membranes. While use of antibiotics is one risk factor, many things can cause yeast to be over-abundant. We all have a mix of yeast and bacteria on our skin and mucous membranes. If this balance get changed for any reason - illness, stress, use of too much antibacterial cleaners - the yeast can take over. Get treatment for what you have.

Yeast/opportunity: Thrush /yeast infections are caused by a yeast called candida albicans. It is an opportunist that is everywhere in nature and makes up 5% or more of the dry weight of your poo.It lives off the sugar in mucous and needs only the opportunity to get into a space to set up shop.Having the anus near the vagina makes it an common site.Diabetics and babies that feed often are more at risk of oral thrush.
Call your doc: You need to be seen and treated for al the symptoms--anti fungal treatment and have a rectal exam done to confirm diagnosis and treat accordingly
Treat: See your doctor for treatment of both the infections and the fissure
Thrush: Thrush is a yeast infection in the mouth. Candida is the name of the yeast. Cystitis is a bladder infection, which could be a viral infection, bacterial infection or a yeast infection. Yeast infection just means that you have an infection from yeast and it could be just about anywhere.
