Yellowish substance that smells like cheese under my big toenails. It is not puss. My toenails are dull and my small toe is spongey and dark.
My big toe has some puss coming out of the side buy the toenail. The skin there is puffy and red. It causes minor discomfort. What should I do?

Not uncommon: It is early yet & would follow up with ur surgeon. It also depends on what was done. Simple removing of the nail with no reconstruction such as nail bed removal and shortening of the toe and then the pad brought up over the end of the nail &sutured to the skin above the nail bed is a larger procedure.
