Probably not fatal!: There are a lot of causes of low back pain. If this has persisted for more than a day or two you should probably go see your doctor. The list of possible causes if quite long but it would be highly unlikely at your age that this would be something fatal! don't worry but do get it checked out. Possible sinusitis: This can be due to an infection in the sphenoid sinus which is in back of the skull. If you've had a recent upper respiratory infection, this would be a likely cause of the headache. Discuss this with your physician who will order the appropriate tests and treatment as well as refer you to an otolaryngologist or neurologist depending on his/her assessment. Facet, disc,nerve: You may have irritated a higher cervical facet joint. Less likely you could have a cervical nerve root irritation or an occipital nerve irritation. Try gentle heating pads, ice, range of motion of your head and neck, gentle stretching, and go see your doctor to see if physiotherapy, medications like antiinflammatories, anti-spasmodics, nerve medications or injections may help you.
