Throbbing Pain In Ankle
Sharp aching pains in right ankle. Slight swelling. Tingling and numbness in right leg/foot. Can bend foot up and down no pain. Burning sensation.
Achilles: Sounds like inflammation of the achilles tendon. This should improve with relative rest, ice, compression and elevation if you develop swelling. You may want to back down on the running if trying to increase mileage. Also get your shoes fitted properly at a running store that specializes in foot gear. If no better in a few weeks then see your doc. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Pain tingling in calf and pain in arch of foot. Numbness in Achilles. Slight swelling at base of calf muscle in right leg. Any ideas what's wrong?
Calf pain: can be several things: 1. tingling and numbness usually represent nerve pain - the sural nerve runs behind the calf muscle and could be pinched 2. the pain in the arch could be tednonitis - the posterior tibial tendon - when injured it can cause deep calf soreness and arch pain especially behind the ankle area. 3. tarsal tunnel syndrome I would suggest you see a Podiatrist or Foot & Ankle doctor ...Read more
Hi I have Si joint pain or piriformis, sharp pain in back, stabbing pain in thigh and calf it doesn't travel. now stabbing pain in front ankle, related?
Sciatica?: In my experience, "SI joint" and "Piriformis" syndromes are commonly over-diagnosed by mistake. Instead, I do see a lot of cases of sciatica from degenerate discs and pinched nerves in the lumbar spine. From your description, I wonder if you might have a pinched L5 nerve in your lumbar spine. http://www.spine-health.com/conditions/spine-anatomy/all-about-l5-s1-lumbosacral-joint ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Burning sensation and pain in lower right leg, numbing sensation in foot, pinching sensation in hip ? No back pain.
Depends: I would like to know where the pain starts. If it originates at the buttock it is possible that the problem could be coming from the back despite not having back pain. My advice would be to get an EMG to rule out a radiculopathy, consider imaging of L-spine and Right Hip, and based on these results decide further tx. Buttock pain could be coming from back, hip or SI joint. Further w/u needed. ...Read more
