Muscle irritation: As a gastrointestinal surgeon, i can tell you that I have never seen a patient with cancer present with this symptom. In all likelihood, this is just an abdominal wall muscle that is irritable, just like an eyelid that sometimes twitches during the day. Umbilicus pain: Ovarian cancer has may ill defined symptoms, which is why it is so hard ot diagnosis. You also have other reasons for pain like fibroids, , could be hernia , GERD, possible pancreas, gallbladder. Follow up with your doctor urgent care and consider CT of abdomen or ultrasound( abdominal and transvaginal) to check ovaries and other causes. ...Read more
