Difficult to say: You are young and one would suspect that arthritis is not a factor in your case, which could explain pain that increases with usage. Did you have any injury recently or in the past? Any prior surgeries? Are you an athlete or otherwise very active? Is there swelling? As you can see, there are many other questions of value here. Following with a doctor can shed some light on your situation!
38 yof. Severe burning stinging & throbbing pain started behind left knee 2 weeks ago now goes from back hamstring down leg feels like kneecap slips pop?
Several: 'burning' knee pain without any injury may be caused by tendinitis (patellar, quads, it band etc.) or from kneecap (patellofemoral) cartilage wear most commonly. See your orthopedic surgeon if your pain continues for examination. In your case patellofemoral instability can cause pain, 'popping', and a feeling of instability. Quad strengthening and bracing may be the initial treatment. Best of luck!

I have a throbbing pain in my right calf. It's from right below my knee to almost my ankle. It also has heat generating from it.
Get evaluated ASAP.: It's possible that you may have thrombophlebitis - a blood clot in one of the veins in your calf. This can be painful to touch, and to flex the ankle. Most concerning is the fact that a blood clot can travel up through the blood stream as the vessels get larger. But when the clot reaches the tiny vessels of the lungs, the situation can become critical. Blood thinners are used. Go to er if needed.See 1 more doctor answer

Evaluate Low Back: If you are not improving have your doctor order a lumbar spine mri. Many times a herniated disc in the back can cause leg pain especially if you have not improved with the medications and physical therapy. If it is a herniated disc you may need evaluation from a spine specialist to determine what other options might be needed (injections, surgery, etc) to help reduce pain.See 1 more doctor answer
