Hot flushes constantly. Also, battling with severe knee pain at rest which constantly wakes me during the night. Hot & cold during night. What is it?
What can causes a 24/7 knee pain for several months that can't relived with rest or pain killers and the pain don't increase with exercises?
One possibility: Your complaints could indicate several problems, the first abnormality that comes to mind is avascular (aseptic) necrosis of the bone within the knee joint, either distal (lower) femur or proximal (upper) tibia. Many things: If you have no pain walking, unless you walk very slowly, poor circulation seems unlikely. Most of my patients experience more pain when they go to bed, what ever the condition happens to be. Difficult when: Work is needed but pain is constantly there. I would suggest asking if there is anyway to sit during work. Assuming knee pain is basic osteoarthritis and not acute injury, try different shoes and include a lateral shoe wedge to offload the medial compartment. Soft tissues: 35y female with intermittent "groin, knee, calf" pain worse "resting than walking". Absent a venous blood clot, sciatica would seem a consideration. R knee pain: Yes. Numbness usually reflects nerve injury, May be meniscal injury, or stress fracture (though that should hurt more w/walking), or sciatica which can refer to the knee.
