What can causes a 24/7 knee pain for several months that can't relived with rest or pain killers and the pain don't increase with exercises?

One possibility: Your complaints could indicate several problems, the first abnormality that comes to mind is avascular (aseptic) necrosis of the bone within the knee joint, either distal (lower) femur or proximal (upper) tibia. Depending on degree of pain with activity or rest, an inflammatory disorder (such as gout) or even infection are possible. I'd have any pain evaluated by a doctor that occurs at rest. ...Read more

I am 63, female, in good health. I have throbbing knee pain (both) when in bed at night. I do not have diffiuculty walking, long distances even, and d?
