Hi last nite throbbing jaw pain at the jawline. It was only on one side and the test of mouth didn't hurt. Could it be my teeth our something else?
Teeth a concern: Diffuse jaw pain can have several reasons, teeth are one of the more common ones, especially impacted teeth(under the gums). The gums surrounding the teeth can be painful. The jaw joint, tmj, can be a reason for pain, higher on the suspicion meter if you note popping with opening your jaw. The salivary glands, submandibular, can be an etiology for posterior jaw pain. Need an exam: Jaw pain could be related to multiple sources including dental issues and cardiac issues. If you feel the source is your teeth, see a dentist. Had 3 lower back teeth removed 2 years ago. Still, have throbbing pain in jaw on a daily basis on and off. Drs cannot figure out why.

Possibly both: It is not uncommon for fibromyalgia patients to have jaw pain. Tmj syndrome can be associated with arthritic changes or disc changes to the jaw itself which would be different from the source of pain for a fibromyalgia patient. Possibly: A dull, vague pain on the lower left side of your jaw may be cause for concern in regard to heart attack. Bilateral jaw pain may be from clenching while exercising.
