Throbbing In Ear And Headache
Had sinus headache after my flight then attended event, after im a bit stressed, feel pulsating/throbbing above left ear, same headache too. Idea?
Fluid in ear?: Assuming that these symptoms have been present for less than a week, fluid in the left middle ear from the flight may be the cause and this may or may not resolve completely by itself after 2 weeks. It is possible also that you may have an ear infection. On the other hand, from your history, I can't rule out a migraine headache triggered by stress especially if you have a history of migraine. I have what I thought was a sinus infection for 2 mo Took antibiotic for 10 days, no relief. Constant throbbing, headache, ear pressure, tooth pain?
Pain & Infection: Sinus infections can often result in maxillary posterior tooth pain. It is possible that you have a tooth abscess that has not responded to the antibiotics. Either way, you should see your dentist to rule out any dental issues... antibiotics alone will not solve any dental problems. Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Experiencing constant throbbing and swirling in ear. Keeps me from sleep and concentrating and it never stops. Headaches worse by day?
I have been having a numbness on the R side of my face with a headache & throbbing...and the skin and right ear get very hot to the touch.?
Complicated migraine: This is most likely a complicated migraine based on throbbing pain and skin sensitivity vs less likely brain lesion affecting the cranial nerve 5 or autonomic trigeminal cephalgia. You need to see a neurologist for this issue and get MRI brain to rule out demyelinating or space occupying lesions, but again highest suspicion is for migraine Read more

What is wrong can: Only be determined by an appropriate medical professional examining you for diagnosis. It certainly sounds like an ear infection, possibly coupled with a sinus infection. Headache is commonly part of IIH but sharp ear pain- a bit uncommon in a classic presentation. Wanna chat? Www. Healthtap. Com/drsaghafi Use Key Code: PDXFNR to set up an appointment. No ear infection, I've been checked. Been waking up with my ear throbbing off n on the past year n I have constant headaches n anxiety. What could this be?
TMJ: The jaw joint shares a nerve with the ear drum and sometimes discomfort originating in the jaw will be perceived as ear pain. When this is happening, your pcp should be able to elicit or amplify the pain by slight tapping over the joint. This can also involve the teeth. Good luck with sorting it out. Read more
Throbbing headache in back of head and forehead and throbbing in face, sore neck, ringing in ears and vision affected?
Severe throbbing headache. Woke me up. Had CT no contrast. Y wouldn't they use contrast. Could I hav an unruptured anuresym. Hav neck & ear pain 2?
No CT contrast when: Looking for hemorrhage (blood) in the brain or around it. This can happen with a ruptured aneurysm, or a spontaneous (or traumatic) subdural or subarachnoid hemorrhage, or even a hemorrhagic stroke. Contrast can hide the blood. Although unlikely, aneurysm is possible. Please see your doctor for a workup of this problem - could be many things, such as high blood pressure. May need MRI +/- mra. Read more
