Intermittent throbbing on dorsal side of both feet. Throbbing is near area where bunions were cut off over 10 years ago. There is no pain. What is it?
Venous disease: Sxs most likely unrelated to bunions. More likely, you may be manifesting sxs of venous valvular incompetence or venous "reflux." do you ever experience pedal or leg oedema (swelling)? Of so, the initial study to assess for this is a venous duplex ultrasound for both DVT and reflux. Other causes may include the wearing of too tight-fitting shoes, vasculitis, or a stress tarsal fracture... ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
The heels of both feet throb for days at a time. I have mild neuropathy in rht ft, but throbbing pain is in both feet. Had mri, xray and is good. What?
Since you already: Know that you have a neuropathy, presumably you saw a doctor already and some kind of workup for the cause of the neuropathy was done (i.e. Check for diabetes). Neuropathy itself can cause the pains you have. A specialist in physical medicine and rehabilitation or neurology can do other tests like emg/nerve conduction studies to look for other causes like a tarsal tunnel syndrome. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Chronic pain in both calves and feet throbbing when resting. Test for artery disease negative. Blood tests normal. What could be going on?
Pain in calves: Glad to hear health tests are good so far. Are you taking a statin medication for cholesterol? That can cause muscle pain but your doc probably is keeping that in mind. Do you exercise? If so, do you cool down slowly afterwards? That can be a cause if not. Peace and good health. ...Read more
Treated for lupus. Now getting intermittent tingling in my upper buttocks and sometimes feet. Throbbing legs at times. No back pain or back issues. ?
Tingling: Intermittent tingling is not uncommon. If it resolves with a position change, it may be benign. If you think your nerves are more "sensitive" or "irritable" - ie tingling unusually more than normal, check with your rheumatologist who could run some blood work to quantify if the lupus is active. Some meds can affect this. ...Read more

Hi, my wife and i did stand up paddle board this morning before 12pm - she fell, hit her foot on the board but no pain until 4. throbbing now?
Possible fracture: This should be checked out. If there is "pin-point" pain of the area, there is the possibility of a foot fracture. The other option is to ice it for the first 24 hours, keep off the foot for a few days and see if the pain remains or if it resolves rather quickly. Overall, pain and swelling that remains in the local area should be checked out if it is still significant after 48 hours. ...Read more

My foot has been bothering me for weeks, like throbbing. I don’t know what caused the injury but its not its not going away. Who should i see for?
Probably best: To start off with your primary care physician. With those limited symptoms reported, it could be any number of issues contributing to this and making sure you're seeing the right doctor would be more easily done with an inperson evaluation to determine if this is related to soft tissue(muscle/ligements/etc) or bony or something else. ...Read more
