Extreme lower leg pain, almost like my bones are hurting, after running barely 30 min? Not sure what's wrong im a little overweight
After running yesterday, a tender, red lump has developed on the outside of my leg about 4 inches above my ankle. Its about an inch in diameter.
Yikes......: It sounds as though you may have torn or caused a weakness in the tissue that encases a lower leg muscle. This lump could be the muscle peeking through the herniation. Quite possibly the extensor digitorum longus muscle is involved. Sometimes the bump goes away or get smaller when not standing. You may get antibiotic ointment like Neosporin, available over the counter and apply to the raw area. It is okay to leave it uncovered, or you may cover it, after applying the ointment, with sterile gauze and secure it with hypoallergenic tape.
Keep up the exercise.
