I have took the cold but I have noticed that my glands in my throat have swollen and the back of my tongue has like enlarged tastebuds what is this?
Infection?: If you just got over a cold and now your throat and tonsils are sore and swollen you may have an infection developing. My taste buds don't seem to be working well... I went to the doc 4 throat and had some sort of virus. Is it related? Will it resolve soon/on its own?
Woke up with blood in throat and little circle shaped cuts on tongue. Have not had piercings. The cuts are right around the taste buds and are sparse?

My tongue is coated white but throat is normal . Had blood work done yesterday and it was normal. Big red taste buds... is it thrush?
Probably not: Often running a piece of dental floss across the tongue will remove this debris. If so, and if it isn't uncomfortable, it's probably not thrush / candida. Your physician would have recognized oral thrush as well. Don't make too much out of tongue signs -- they're famously nonspecific and often (usually) mean nothing. ...Read more
