Yes: Loss of voice is usually due to laryngitis it may last a couple of days but usually recovers without any complications. Treatment is supportive without the need of any medications. If however your sore throat gets worse with high fevers and increased cough you should see a physician for pharyngitis. You need: To be evaluated by a GI (Gastroenterologist) Provider who will probably wish to endoscopically confirm the diagnosis and treat with appropriate Proton Pum Inhibitors (ag PRILOSEC) and possibly H-2 Blockers (PEPCID, ZANTAC (ranitidine) The laryngitis can ALSO be due to ACID and the "fullness" may be due to a co-existing HIATUS HERNIA
