Any Other Symptoms?: Would you be able to describe your symptoms a little bit more? Is it difficult and/or painful to swallow? If yes, does is it matter if its fluids versus solid food? Do you have any other conditions like reflux (gerd), neurologic conditions or even anxiety problems? Are you taking any meds? It would be atypical for a disk or degenerative changes (since you are so young) to cause this sensation. ...Read more

Possibly: Some bacterial throat infections, like strep throat, can cause tongue changes. Additionally, some viral infections can cause lesions on the tongue that may progress to vesicles or ulcers. Hoarseness: It's possible the change in your voice is related to the medication. Normally these medicines do not cause this however. Perhaps it is more likely to be unrelated. It is not related to the bulging disc problem. The only concern perhaps is if it is an unrelated issue. If you are a smoker, and it is a few weeks old, it may be worth checking on. ...Read more

See your Doctor & be: investigated for proper diagnosis, of your Shortness of breath, which to me seems to be related to your GERD. A GI specialist or a your Doctor will be able to treat that, but if your Cervical Disc is cause of your symptoms, then surgery might be needed if nonsurgical treatment does not help.
