See endocrinologist: It sounds like you have multiple endocrine issues. The cortisol level does not appear correct. Was this a blood cortisol or saliva? Saliva testing for low adrenal function is not valid. You really need to see an endocrinologist to sort this out. ...Read more

You should have your thyroid hormone levels checked, if hyper or hypoactive it can be treated. If the hormone level is normal, you should have a cat scan to determine if the gland is narrowing the breathing pipe or trachea. If so surgery may treat your problem. Thoughts..: It could be post nasal dripping. This is a slow, constant drip to the back of the throat from the nose - can often be helped by allergy medicines.
