Was in school &got brief tightness on lower section of skull. Neck fluttered right underneath it. No pain, but scared it's a tumor/aneurysm. I'm 18 :(?

Expected 2B benign: This kind of symptom would almost certainly be from a muscle. None of my patients with tumors or aneurysms ever mentioned this. Hope that helps! ...Read more

Hypochondriasis: Is a terrible condition. You might become convinced you have every disease you read about on the internet! why not see your doctor for a check-up. Unlikely aneurysm: Could be due to dental or jaw, but maybe neck issue or thoracic outlet syndrome. Get this examined, just to be safe, and maybe your doctor will order testing to reassure you. Migraine is another possibility, and depending on cause, treatment should be quite successful. ...Read more

Could this be an aneurysm? Cannot bend over due to severe, alarming throbbing in head & neck. Have to sleep with 3 pillows. SOB as well.

Mgt: I would suggest seeing your PCP today, these are serious symptoms which may be related to a cardiovascular problem. Other conditions which may cause shortness of breath include a pulmonary embolism. ...Read more
