Surprisingly fatty.: Sounds good on the surface, but would be rather caloric because of the amounts of healthy fats in the avocado and nuts and seeds. Would cut back on those ingredients, perhaps choosing one per day and switching them up. ...Read more

Sounds really good.: Granted some nuts are salted, which wouldn't go well with your high blood pressure history, but in what you mentioned you have protein, healthy fats and complex carbohydrates for sustained energy. Sounds good to me. ...Read more

OK: One meal isn't going to make or break your program- the best way to lose weight is permanent changes in how you eat. Slow ; steady is the way to go. Hard to evaluate your lunch without knowing the rest of your diet but it looks ok. Eat mostly fruits, veggies, nuts ; seeds ; you'll lose weight. I'd have much more tomato/onion that a slice. OK- healthier if...: This has potential but i advise choosing organic yogurt;conventional brands like activia are from cows fed gmo corn & given antibiotics & rbgh(bovine growth hormone)-avoid! the same applies to eggs. 122 is fine: It is entirely normal for blood sugar to rise to 122 or more after a meal; the "normal" level is up to 140. it you ate less the sugar wold probably not rise as much, but this is not necessary as your level is not of concern. ...Read more
