This is my 7th day after taking azithromycin for chlamydia and I recieved head. Will I be at risk of gettin reinfected?

Yes and no: Although the Azithromycin will take care of the current chlamydia infection, you can get re-infected if you continue to have unprotected intercourse with a partner who is still infected. Your partner (s) should be evaluated and treated if necessary. Besides abstinence, condom use is the only form of contraception that prevents sexually transmitted diseases. Oral sex is lower risk sex, low is not no. ...Read more

No,: No, this is not possible.
Most doctors want to re-test you in about 6-8 weeks to make sure the infection has cleared. Also, if your partner was not treated then he can very easily reinfect you.
Please remember to be safe and protect yourself against std's by using condoms.
Take care. ...Read more

My partner received treatment through Azithromycin for Chlamydia. However, I received fellatio from her within 4 days of the treatment, am I at risk?

Depends: You lists this as an exposure to your partner but do not state whether you also received treatment. The oral sex is not a particular risk for that STD, but If you were not treated at the same time as your partner, and you may have chlamydia already. If treated then I don't think this is a problem. ...Read more

I have chlamydia and I had barely unprotected sex with husband for me 8 days after taking treatment for it and my husband 7 days and 10 hours with Azithromyacin 2 500 mg pills did we reinfect each other?

More testing needed: If you were both treated at the same time, it is unlikely either of you reinfected the other with chlamydia. However, chlamydia often is present along with other germs that can cause bacterial vaginosis (wth odor) and pelvic inflammatory disease (PID), which could explain your pain. Also gonorrhea? Stop having sex entirely and re-contact your doctor ASAP. This could be serious. Good luck! ...Read more

This is my 7th day after taking azithromycin for chlamydia and I recieved head from someone who doesn't have chlamydia. Will I get reinfected?

Probably not: It is not possible to tell if they have chlamydia from looking at them; however, oral sex is a relatively low risk activity for contracting any std other than herpes (oral sex is high risk for contracting herpes if either person has the virus). Safer sex would involve using a condom or dental dam as a barrier for even oral sex. ...Read more

I am wondering on why an individual would be on azithromycin 10 day and twice daily treatment? And if this will cure chlamydia?

Not the CDC dosing: Yes, this would cure chlamydia (and many other things as well!) but it is not the dose recommended by the centers for disease control. That dose is one gram, once. My girlfriend was prescribed azithromycin to treat chlamydia & on the 5th day after, we had intercourse for 60 secs. Is there any type of risk?

Maybe: The typical treatment is given in a single dose or over 2 wks. It does take a while to kill the germ. If you had prior exposure and were not treated, you likely have it anyway. Condoms help you avoid some risk but is not 100%. In this situation it is hard to say if you are at risk or not. There are other details we don't know from what you listed. ...Read more

One day ago I took azithromycin for chlamydia when can I have potected sex?

You could but: Condoms are very effective at preventing transmission of std that are caused by fluid like gonorrhea, chlamydia, trichomoniasis and hiv. It seems to me it would be more socially responsible until after you have been retested in a few weeks though before you put someone else at risk. You also should inform the current partner of the your recent infection so they have choice in their risk taking. ...Read more
