If you are ovulating: As long as you are ovulating, and having intercourse during the time of ovulation, then yes you can conceive. The thickness of the lining of the uterus will vary during the cycle (right after menses, it is usually thinner; gets thicker right before menses). 10-14 days: It does depend on the situation. But usually daily use for 10-14 days is long enough to start noticing some effects. But this really depends on the reason for the thick lining. For example, women who are very heavy have conversion of precursor androgens into estrogen that takes place in their fat cells. This excess estrogen then continues to stimulate the uterine lining. What r the signs of thin uterine lining? Light/short period? I'm on 3rd cycle of 50mg Clomid (clomiphene) this month, dr never order any u/s scan for lining.
Different approach.: Not all doctors will check the lining or your follicle. I like to perform us day 11, 12, or 13 to check ut lining and follicle response to the clomid (clomiphene).
