Is it true that 2 x vitamin E, 1 x zinc, and 1 x fish oil capsule can thicken a uterine lining?

No: No, it would have no effect on the uterine lining. The lining grows in response to the estrogen you produce in the first half of your cycle. Since you have an ovarian cyst, your hormone levels may not be correct. Talk to your GYN. ...Read more

Its possible: 14% of patients who present with postmenopausal bleeding will have endometrial cancer so an endometrial biopsy is warranted. The most recent recommendation is that a thickness of <3mm be used as the cutoff for excluding endometrial cancer. Of course, with your being 9mm, evaluation is absolutely necessary. However, there is no need for panic. There is an 86% chance that your biopsy will be benign. ...Read more

I recently had a tvu, wihich showed a thickened uterine lining. The doctor suggested it may be adenomyosis.
Could it be uterine/ovarine cancer?

Yes but unlikely: I suppose it is possible to have uterine cancer when the lining is thick. There are simple in office and in the operating room ways to get a sample of the tissue and make sure. Unless there is more to the story that I don't know, a hysterectomy seems like a bit of an overkill--like cutting a tomato with a chain-saw when a paring knife would do. Best wishes! ...Read more
