No Worries: this is an incidental finding, doesn't really mean anything. If your doctor is concerned about it he will follow it with serial ultrasounds. Upper limit: Of normal for bladder thickness is 5-6 mm. Thickening can occur from multiple causes. From your symptoms i would suspect increased internal bladder pressure from prostate enlargement (causing the wall to thicken) or inflammation/infection of the bladder (cystitis).
